Wind River Marketing is a student-run web and marketing shop based in Logan, Utah, operated by a Utah State University student. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors to windriver.marketing, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect the email address — and optional role — you enter into that form. When you reach out by email or phone, we receive whatever you choose to share in that message or call.

We don't ask for payment or account information through this website.

Like most websites, windriver.marketing uses a few third-party tools to understand traffic and measure how people find us:

We use the information above to reply to inquiries and quote requests, send the monthly newsletter to people who sign up for it, understand which pages and campaigns are working so we can improve the site, and keep the site secure and running. We never sell your information.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; doing so may change how some site features behave but won't stop you from browsing the site or reaching us.

You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically with Google's browser add-on, and manage your ad preferences with Meta directly in your Facebook or Instagram account settings. Every newsletter email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run this site and our business — Netlify (hosting and form submissions), Google (analytics), and Meta (advertising measurement) — and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Newsletter sign-up information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's own default settings. Messages sent by email or phone are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our business records.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing hello@windriver.marketing. If you're located somewhere with its own privacy law — such as the EU/UK GDPR or a U.S. state privacy law — you may have additional rights under that law, and we'll honor requests made under it.

We may update this policy as the site or our tools change. The date below reflects the last update — please check back occasionally.
